Magic Tecnica Model G3 - Firmware Upgrade Tutorial

Preparation:

• If you haven't install G3 driver and SongEasyLoader software, please do so.   
• Download and unzip the firmware file.  The file name should end with ***.img 
• Connect the G3 Microphone to your PC via USB cable: Power on the G3 Main Microphone and wait for it to finish booting.  (You can tell its booting completion when a random number will display on the LCD.)  Connect the G3 Microphone to your PC via USB cable.  (Optional, at the same time, connect the G3 Microphone to your TV.)

Step 1: Click 'Operation' and 'Upgrade Firmware'

Step2 : Select the firmware file's location and click 'Open'

Step 3: Click 'Yes' to confirm the firmware upgrade procedure.

Step 4: After the Transfer is completed, Click 'Ok' to acknowledge the Upgrade Finished.  CAUTION: DO NOT power off the G3 Microphone at this time.

Step 5: On the TV screen, it will indicate that the system is now being upgraded.  DO NOT power off.  TIPS: If there is no TV connection nearby, simply wait for at least 10 minutes to power off the system.

Step 6: Within few minutes, the TV screen will indicate that the upgrade has finished and it is safe to Power Off the system. 

To confirm or to check the G3 microphone firmware, power on the system, go to FUNC, 6 (setup) and Enter 8899.  The firmware version will display on the TV screen.
